Here are the 2 Part of my impressions of Mémoire & Friends 2010 . Of course these are just snapshots that have come under ideal conditions, not professional. It had many visitors, the wines were mostly already a little too warm and my notes are created in a very short time, so a little less detail than usual.

The Mattmann The 2008
Matt Mann-type sized cassis note falls once more. Very fresh nose, great herb flavor, very deep. On the palate, very well structured with a lovely acidity, lots of spice and melting. Long finish. 17vvpunkte, 2011-2017.
Quinten 2009 (barrel sample)
The nose still strongly influenced by the expansion, lactic notes. Soft on the palate, lots of cooked fruit, plus a nice, peppery spice, perhaps something deep in the acid. Good finish. 5.16 vvpunkte. 2012-2016.

Pinot Noir 2008 Salenegg
Beautiful, red-berry fruits on the nose, to the slight Saleneggwürze. On the palate, very fruity with good structure, very fine tannins. The maturity since the last tasting has been good. 5.15 vvpunkte, 2012-2015. Pinot Noir Barrique 2008
right deep, spicy nose, very precise use of wood with an almost Burgundian spice. On the palate, extremely elegant, with solid structure and beautiful fruit. No muscle man but a wonderfully balanced representative Barrique, a stylish charmer. Added since the last tasting also risen. 5.16 vvpunkte, 2011-2016.

Pinot Noir Late Harvest 2009
Expressive nose Gletscherzältli clear flavors, plus a lot of Pinot fruit. On the palate, a colorful mix of red and blue berries, very creamy and very nice to drink. A great drinking pinot of better than 2 degrees was too cold to get as warm in the glass and lives of its beautiful fruit. 5.15 vvpunkte, 2010-2012.
Pinot Noir Tete de Cuvée 2007
pretty stressed wood fragrance, fine Pinot spice. On the palate, soft, ripe, full fruit, the wood is well integrated, great melting. Good finish. Perfectly vinified for me to get a bit modern. Vvpunkte 16, 2010-2015.

Pinot Noir Selection Old Vines 2009
typical Pinot nose, great fruit, some Gletscherzältli flavors. On the palate, lovely fruit, currants and raspberries, served with good acidity and soft tannins. A great 2009er that comes along amazingly fresh. 5.15 vvpunkte. 2010-2015.
Pinot Noir Barrique Selection 2007
Very stressed wood nose, hints of caramel and chocolate, the fruit in the background. On the palate, meaty, cooked with strong berry flavors. Too wide, too fat, too heavy wood. No elegance. 5.14 vvpunkte, 2010-2016
Pinot Noir Barrique 2008
Significant cassis notes in the nose, plus a nice, fresh flavor. On the palate, great structure, nice berry fruit and subtle Holzaromatik. Much more elegant than the 2007 Selection with medium long finish. Must Pinot taste. 5.16 vvpunkte, 2010-2017.
Pinot Noir Barrique Selection 2008
re-developed in 100% new oak and again dominated the wood a little too much. The balance is better than in the 2007, this 08 looks fresher, has a pleasant acidity, lovely aromas of red and blue berries and fine, ripe tannins. Everything should be better at everything than in 2007 but the wood can be also used subtle. 5.15 vvpunkte, 2010-2017.
Pinot Noir Barrique 2008 Erdwein
Wow, this is fun. The Erdwein was in a barrel, stored, buried 2 meters deep. The wine has a wonderful Beerenaromatik in the nose, combined with a fresh flavor. On the palate with great structure, very balanced aromas of berries and wood flavors, accompanied by one-part acid. All in all, very refreshing. 5.16 vvvpunkte +. 2010-2017 +
